Square 1 Art

First off, our Dot paintings and recycle art/Lorax art projects are complete in all grades EXCEPT 5th grade. They need one more rotation probably to complete their collages. We are pausing these collages in order to make time for our SQUARE 1 ART fundraiser projects! Before I go into Square 1 Art, here are a few photos of our displays:

Square 1 Art is an art fundraiser we're embarking on at Moore Magnet. Older students who had the previous art teacher a few years ago will remember this fundraiser. This is my first year doing it, and I am super excited! When we're finished with our projects, I will ship them to the Square 1 art people, and they will scan in the work and make it possible for parents, friends, relatives, and so on to go online and order all kinds of neat products with our students' art on it! They make fantastic gifts as well.

In grades K-2 we're making hand print animals.

In grades 3-5 we're using color and line to create interesting works of art with, yes, our hands!

This week we will finish up our Square 1 Art! I will keep you posted!
